Prachtig gerestaureerde Triumph Mayflower.
De Triumph Mayflower is een kleine, luxe gezinsauto die van 1949 tot 1953 werd gebouwd door de British Standard Motor Company en werd verkocht door hun dochteronderneming Triumph Motor Company. Hij heeft een 1+1/4-liter motor en stond bekend om zijn messcherpe styling. Het werd aangekondigd op de British International Motor Show in oktober 1949, maar de leveringen begonnen pas halverwege 1950.

Een van de negen prototypes van Triumph Mayflowers, "X488", werd in 1950 in de fabriek 8.000 kilometer door heel Europa getest, waar ze gebruik maakten van de beroemde testbaan op het dak van Impéria Automobiles in België.

De auto welke we hier aanbieden is een exemplar van bouwjaar 1953, de auto is volledig gerestaureerd naar de hoogste maatstaven en is da nook geen kopje. Het is wel een bijzondere auto in topconditie. Waar u, in deze conditie, er zeker niet nog een zult vinden.
