MG A 1500 roadster
Beautiful MGA Roadster in Tartan Red from 1956.
This MGA is fitted with beautiful spoke wheels, Tartan Red paint in good condition and a black leather interior.
The rolling lines of the MGA Roadster make it one of the most popular and recognizable classics, quite an experience to drive!
This MG A was born as a 1500, but over time it has gotten a 1622cc engine and exterior details of the last generation MG A's. These upgrades were done by a lot of owners of 1500's in the early 1960's to give their car a more recent look and a better performing engine for an overall better driving experience.
The MGA comes from a private collection and was just serviced. This colour combination is beautiful! Tartan red in combination with as good as new black leather seats, black piping, and black leather door panels.
Good paint, solid bottom, restored in the past (older restoration) with some visible signs of wear. The neat, red engine compartment looks good. The red boot space is sleek and solid. The doors, bonnet and boot lid have good hinges and locks. The MG has the original Lucas headlights and indicators. The soft-top is in reasonably good condition. Chrome bumpers are in very good condition.
The interior has a black set of carpets, neat black door panels and two black leather seats with black piping. The original steering wheel is like new, the original speaker is included! The dashboard is painted in the original Tartan Red colour.
In an overall nice condition both inside and out.
This MGA was born as a 1500 and received an engine from its younger brother for more driving dynamics. This is a 1622 with 79 bhp. The larger displacement makes this MGA a dream to drive.
