Our CSL is a rare 3 series produced in only 110 samples, also called "Batmobile" because of the aerodynamic kit characterized by numerous spoilers on the car, aimed at improving the aerodynamic flows and that supported this nickname.
These spoilers were sold with the car, but not installed, as in some countries they were not approved for road use.
The third series is one of the rarest and most interesting series, both for the successes achieved in the race, both for the revolutionary features such as: the engine brought to 3,153 cc (injection) doors and aluminum bonnets, and other new features.
To further enhance this sport, was the driver Toine Hezemans, who in 1973 driving a BMW 3.0 CSL won the European Touring Car Championship. Victories that also came from 1975 to 1979 thus entering the Olympus of the most glorious and important racing cars in history.
