Vanaf de eerste dag werd Abarth geassocieerd met Fiat en de meeste van hun auto's waren gebaseerd op Fiat-mechanica. Later monteerden ze upgrades voor Fiat-modellen. De band was zo hecht en sterk dat toen Carlo Abarth zijn bedrijf wilde verkopen er maar één koper kon zijn: Fiat.
De 850 TC (Turismo Competizione) werd eind jaren zestig geïntroduceerd en was gebaseerd op een Fiat 600-carrosserie met een gewijzigde voorkant voor de oliekoeler en uitlopende wielkasten voor de grotere wielen. De motor was een 848cc Fiat viercilinder en produceerde 51 pk, wat op zich niet veel is, maar vergeleken met de 28 pk van de 633cc wat z'n basis is, is het een verbazingwekkend vermogen voor zo'n kleine motor. Dankzij de combinatie van motorvermogen en een lichte auto hebben Abarths honderden races over de hele wereld gewonnen, waarbij ze vaak hun rivalen met veel grotere cilinderinhoud versloegen en hun reputatie als "Giant Killers" verdienden. Hun reputatie was zo groot dat de Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) probeerde de dominantie van Alfred Cosentino en zijn team in FAZA, die de nieuw ontwikkelde 1000 TCR met 'Radiale' motor bestuurde, te verminderen door hen te dwingen om oudere motoren te gebruiken. Ondanks deze beperking wisten ze toch 51 van de 53 races te winnen, wat de reputatie van Abarth in de racewereld versterkte.

Het gaat hier om een, recentelijk, geheel met nieuwe Abarth onderdelen opgebouwde, Abarth 850 TC. Deze auto verkeert in nieuwstaat. De gave body (Carrosserie) komt van een Zastava 750L (Fiat 600). Dit model komt uit 1978, maar is geheel gebaseerd op een Abarth 850 TC uit de jaren '60. Er is géén enkel minpunt te vinden aan dit prachtstuk. Rood en wit is hier het toegepaste thema. Hij is nieuw gespoten in een helder stralende witte lak samen met rode accenten. In het interieur is er ook genoeg rood te vinden, zoals bijvoorbeeld de rode rolkooi, het rode Abarth logo, de driepuntsgordels en diverse andere rode accenten. Helemaal dè uitstraling van hèt Italiaanse merk Abarth.

De onderkant van de auto is één van de belangrijkste hoogtepunten als het gaat om uiterlijk en goed geprepareerd zijn. Alle onderdelen zijn nieuw en buitengewoon professioneel opgebouwd. Verder produceert de nieuwe RVS uitlaat een mooi en sportief geluid. Als we kijken naar het interieur, is het één en al klasse, neem nu de lederen zwarte kuipstoelen met Abarth driepuntsgordels, de nieuwe Abarth stoffen matten, het Abarth sportstuur met daarachter de 3 Abarth instrumenten. Voor de veiligheid is geplaatst een rode rolkooi en het interieur-dak is netjes afgewerkt met een grijze hemelbekleding. Het schorpioen-logo van Abarth is hier overal terug te vinden. Zowel op de grille, als op het sportstuur, de benzinetank, de velgen, de motorkap en de stoffen matten. Op de auto zijn 14' inch lichtmetalen Cromodora velgen gemonteerd met nieuwe banden (165/60 14R) welke passend zijn bij de "circuit look" van de auto.

Het motorblok van de Fiat 650 is gereviseerd en opgeboord tot een ca. 70 pk krachtige motor van 850cc. Deze Motor is voorzien van mooie en gewilde Abarth componenten. Vervolgens heeft hij een rvs spruitstuk en rvs uitlaat demper, Oliekoeler, Koel-inlaat aan de voorzijde met rvs pijpen naar de achterin geplaatste radiateur en oliekoeler. Daarnaast heeft de motor een Abarth kleppendeksel, een Dellorto carburateur, andere assen, schokbrekers, Abarth T onderstel en wielophanging.

Bij deze Abarth is alles nieuw en door z'n karakteristieke, op vaste steunen, geopende motorkap is het een schitterende replica van de sportieve, zeer gewilde auto uit de jaren '60. Men kon de "Abarth-tjes" indertijd, in deze vorm op de vele internationale sportevenementen en circuits  bewonderen.

From day one, Abarth was associated with Fiat and most of their cars were based on Fiat mechanicals. Later they fitted upgrades for Fiat models. The bond was so close and strong that when Carlo Abarth wanted to sell his company there could only be one buyer: Fiat.
Introduced in the late 1960s, the 850 TC (Turismo Competizione) was based on a Fiat 600 body with a modified front end for the oil cooler and flared wheel arches for the larger wheels. The engine was an 848cc Fiat four-cylinder and produced 51 horsepower, which in itself is not much, but compared to the 28 horsepower of the 633cc which was its base, it is amazing power for such a small engine. Thanks to the combination of engine power and a light car, Abarths won hundreds of races around the world, often beating their rivals with much larger displacement and earning their reputation as "Giant Killers." So great was their reputation that the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) tried to diminish the dominance of Alfred Cosentino and his team in FAZA, driving the newly developed 1000 TCR with "Radial" engine, by forcing them to use older engines. Despite this restriction, they still managed to win 51 out of 53 races, reinforcing Abarth's reputation in the racing world.

This is a, recently rebuilt entirely with new Abarth parts, Abarth 850 TC. This car is in new condition. The cool body (Body) comes from a Zastava 750L (Fiat 600). This model is from 1978, but is based entirely on an Abarth 850 TC from the 1960s. There is not a single downside to this beauty. Red and white is the applied theme here. It is newly painted in a bright radiant white paint along with red accents. In the interior there is also plenty of red, such as the red roll cage, the red Abarth logo, the three-point seat belts and various other red accents. Quite the look of the Italian brand Abarth.

The underside of the car is one of the main highlights when it comes to looks and being well prepared. All parts are new and extremely professionally built. Furthermore, the new stainless steel exhaust produces a nice and sporty sound. Looking at the interior, it is all class, take the leather black bucket seats with Abarth three-point belts, the new Abarth cloth mats, the Abarth sports steering wheel with the 3 Abarth instruments behind it. For safety is placed a red roll cage and the interior roof is neatly finished with a gray headliner. Abarth's scorpion logo is everywhere here. Both on the grille, as well as on the sports steering wheel, gas tank, rims, hood and cloth mats. Mounted on the car are 14' inch Cromodora alloy wheels with new tires (165/60 14R) which match the "circuit look" of the car.

The engine block of the Fiat 650 has been overhauled and boosted to a ca. 70 hp powerful 850cc engine. This Engine has been fitted with beautiful and sought after Abarth components. Next it has a stainless steel manifold and stainless steel exhaust muffler, Oil cooler, Front cooling intake with stainless steel pipes to the rear radiator and oil cooler. In addition, the engine has an Abarth valve cover, Dellorto carburetor, different axles, shock absorbers, Abarth T suspension and suspension.

With this Abarth, everything is new and its characteristic hood, opened on fixed supports, makes it a stunning replica of the sporty, highly sought-after car of the 1960s. One could admire the "Abarth-tjes" at the time, in this form at the many international sporting events and circuits.
