It has a mildly modified engine with original twin 1.75 SU carbs mounted on a ported inlet manifold, fabricated exhaust manifolds, polished and ported cylinder head with big valve L1 head, fast road production DB3S cams, 8.6:1 forged pistons, Carrillo style connecting rods, modified distributor with points. Engine develops 170 hp, fitted with DB5 diaphragm clutch. New twin exhaust system from QuickSilver exhausts. Silver Painted wheels (not chrome). Front disc brake conversion fitted to the car with MKIII discs and DB5 callipers, original front drum brakes supplied. Overhauled Distributor. New Magnecor ignition leads. Rolling road session for best set up on engine, giving 170 bhp. Produced from 1953 until 1955 with a total of 565 examples. In excellent condition and ready to drive.
